Photo Shoot - 18 Months

My awesome friend Amy Lindsey took Aubrey and her friend Zoe to the park and took pictures of them. They turned out so beautiful! She is just starting up a business - so if you like what you see you'll have to comment on her blog and make an appointment for yourself! Here is a link to a family photo shoot she did as well.

The girls had so much fun running and playing around the park while Amy followed them and took pictures. As usual, I had trouble narrowing them down to my favorites. When you see how many I put on the blog - you'll think I didn't narrow at all. But between Aubrey, Zoe & shots together - we ended up with 725 pics. So, really I narrowed quite a bit.

I am numbering them so Mom's & Dad's you can tell me what your favorites are and what size photo's you want. Also, siblings I am going to get some smaller and wallets printed so tell me your favorites as well!

Hee Haw

On Monday afternoon we went to Hee Haw Farms with Cindy, JJ & Summer. It was by far my favorite of the pumpkin patches/farms that we have been too. Mainly because it wasn't anywhere near as busy. But also because they had a petting zoo where we could go right in with the animals and they had pony rides. Both of which, Aubrey loved!

After the farm, Jeff & Steve met Summer, Aubrey & I at Tucanos for my birthday dinner. It was delicious. Then we went back to our house where Jeff surprised me with a clean house, candy, balloon, Tickets to the Opera & a yummy ice cream cake. It was a fun surprise. Thanks Jeff!

Feeding the goats

Aubrey loving the petting zoo!

Here little piggy.

Feeding the cute little calf.

On the animal train ride with Aunt Sum Sum.

Having fun on the Gunny sack with Summer

Lovin' the pony ride, Aubrey was so sad when it ended.

Hangin' out with cousin JJ in front of the witch display. I don't have a picture of it, but there was a display of spiders also. When we were looking at it, I noticed Aubrey doing something with her fingers. So, I looked down, and she was doing the motions to "Itsy Bitsy Spider". That little smartie!

They had a corn bin like Cornbelly's did, and once again Aubrey had a ball in it.

This is the life, kicking back in a big box of corn!

Tickle torture from Aunt Summer

My very yummy Peanut Butter Ice Cream cake from my sweet husband.

Hey look, I'm turning one!

It was a fun birthday. Thanks for all those who spent it with me and all the nice phone calls I received!

Cornbelly's

Saturday afternoon we went to Cornbelly's. It's a cornmaze with lots of games and stuff for kids. We had a good time - especially Aubrey.

She had a lot of fun with Daddy on the cow train ride.

The slides were also a big hit with Aubrey.

My little Princess sitting in Cinderella's carriage.

Hurray Cornbelly's is so much fun!

They had this big box of corn for the little ones to play in. Aubrey loved it! At first she didn't know quite what to do with it. So I showed her how to run it through her fingers. Then I covered her legs with it to which she promptly wiped it off (she doesn't love being dirty). Then she started playing with it on her own. She noticed a bigger kid laying down in it and must have thought, "that looks fun", because she went ahead and laid down herself!

On the hayride with mommy! (She is doing our made up sign for her friend Zoe. We were going past a field of pumpkins and she was trying to tell me that she picked out pumpkins with Zoe. It's funny because lately whenever I say "let's go, fill in the blank with wherever we are going, she will always do her sign for Zoe to ask me if Zoe is coming too.)

The jumping pillows were one of Aubrey's favorites. She was a smiling and giggling the whole time!

Me & Daddy jumping on our bums.

Getting a piggyback ride from daddy back to the car! We sure had a fun afternoon!

So on an entirely different note, the other day Aubrey started humming. All morning long she was humming a little tune as she played with her toys. Then that night while I was singing her lullabies she started humming along. It was so sweet. I asked her if she was singing with mommy and she got a huge smile and said "yeah". What a little doll!

She is also getting so good at doing hand motions along with songs. She has been doing motions for the last couple of months, but this week she has really gotten good. Tonight she did all of the motions to wheels on the bus. I am going to try to get it on video - but sometimes she gets too interested in the camera that she won't do whatever it is we are trying to video!

Haunted Halloween

Many of you may not know that Jeff is quite the Halloween Master. Every year for the last 3 years he has made an awesome display in our yard. Complete with props that he has made himself. It is really fun because we get a ton of trick-or-treaters every year. We even get parents coming by on their own, cause their kids have told them about it. We'll see cars drive up and watch from their window too. It's really fun. Below is a video from last year. He has even more stuff this year! We have lots of it out now, but it won't all be out until Halloween. So, if you want a fright on Halloween night, you'll have to come to our house! We love to have as many visitors as possible!

Painting Pumpkins

Yesterday we had Zoe and Rachel over so the girls could paint the pumpkins they had picked out at Pumpkinland. They were so cute painting their pumpkins. Aubrey has never painted before and she was so into it. I barely had to show her what to do. She saw what Zoe was doing and just went to town. That freed me up to take some pics!

Since then, whenever she sees her pumpkin she points at it and giggles. She even had to tell it Ni Night before bed tonight.

Here they are proudly displaying their pumpkins!
