Last Sunday, as I was getting ready, the house was unusually peaceful. I could hear Aubrey talking quietly but that is all. I went to investigate and saw this little scene. Aubrey was reading Brooke a story. This was one of those Mommy moments that make all of the other not so fun times worth it.
They ended up playing so nicely together for quite a while afterward. I was actually sad when I had to interrupt them to put Brooke down for a nap. Aubrey was sad too and said, "Don't put Brooke down for a nap, we're playing together." Oh how I wish everyday was like this!
