Yesterday, I decided to give the tub a good scrub. Aubrey wanted to be with me - so I took all of her bath toys out of the tub and put them and her on the bath mat beside me. I made sure the toilet seat was down and began scrubbing away. I could hear Aubrey playing with her toys and was glad that she was content. When I was just about done, Aubrey started to cry. I looked behind me and saw her finger stuck in the lid of the toilet. I figured she tried to open the seat and it fell back down onto her finger. So, I went to retrieve her finger. When I opened the lid, to my surprise, I saw all of her toys floating inside! Since, the damage was already done, I should have snapped a picture. But, I was so shocked and disgusted that my only thought was to get those toys out of there and cleaned. I guess closing the toilet seat lid is no longer sufficient!
Swimming with JJ
On Tuesday, Cindy & JJ came over to play with Aubrey in her pool. They were sure cute together. Aubrey did something she has never done before. She was all possessive of her toys. I couldn't believe it. We would ask her to give a toy to JJ and she would grab it and throw it the other direction. That little stinker. She also told me "No" for the first time. I thought I had a little more time before this stage has begun. Oh well.
While we were away in Canada the last Bagley kid got engaged. Congratulations Summer & Steve. They will be getting married on Sept. 5th. We can't wait for your big day!
Not too far from Radisson is this famous grove of crooked Aspens. Normal Aspens grow straight up, but these Aspens are very contorted. The soil has been tested and nobody knows why these trees in this bush turned out this way. And it's only the Aspen's - the other trees in the grove, are perfectly normal. Just across the street is a grove of Aspen's that are normal. It sure is a strange sight.
