Tiny Dancer

Aubrey had her first dance class yesterday. She has been soooo excited about it for months. See that face - that's how excited she was as we were on our way to her class.

We met up with Zoe in the lobby, and those two couldn't wait for class to begin. They were a dancing and a twirling while we waited for the registration to begin.

And then class began.

Doing an elephant stretch.

Galloping like a horse.

Doing the ballet first position.

Second position

Doing a plea. Gotta love her form :).

Jumping out of the plea - look at the air she got.

Her favorite part - the freeze dance.

When the music stopped they were supposed to make a pose. Here are Aubrey and Zoe's poses.

Stretching. The teacher on the right is showing the stretch they are supposed to be doing. I am not sure how Aubrey thought what she was doing was similar :)!

Happy that she got to take her first dance lesson! Man she sure was cute!!

Brookie got a tackle from the Tiny dancers afterwards. A few times Brookie busted a move with them, but I wasn't quick enough to get a pic of it. It sure was cute. She had her hands up above her head and was bouncing up and down like the girls. Too cute.

I remembered at the very end that I promised my MIL that I would take some video. I wish I would have remembered during the freeze dance. Oh well, they are still cute videos of the cutest little tiny dancer!

BTW Mommy was just as excited as Aubrey was about the dance class today! And I sure did love every minute of it. I was very pleased with Aubrey's focus and obedience. As you can imagine with a room full of 3-5 year olds, they weren't always on task. But, Aubrey did a fantastic job and Mommy was so proud!! We can't wait until next week!
