Enjoying the Simple things

We went on a walk on Tuesday and found a little spot off the trail with a swing and meadow and logs to sit on. The girls had fun running around, throwing rocks in the water & swinging on the swing. If it weren't for the mosquitos we would have been tempted to stay all day.

The cutest little pair around!

It's sooo much fun to throw rocks in the river. Every time the rocks would land in the river, Aubrey would say, "SPLASH!"

Zoe running through the meadow!

It looks like Aubrey is overcoming her fear of swings! Hurray!

Zoe LOVES to swing!

Aubrey thought it would be fun to push Zoe on the swing.

Then Zoe returned the favor!

The girls trying to escape - why is it that kids think it is sooo much fun to run away from the moms?

Aren't I nice to make the pregnant Mom run after the girls.

Yesterday afternoon we spent more time in the backyard.

Aubrey would climb on top her slide and exclaim, "Aubrey so tall!"

Isn't the garden looking good?! Jeff built a trellis for the peas this year. I can't wait to eat our peas!

Aubrey wanted to have the bubbles stick to her again.

Look at how they collect on her legs. She was getting a kick out of it!

Aubrey still loves her Tubby!

Can you believe how long her hair is!! You would never guess it after seeing her hair dry and curly!

Today we went to the outside story time at the library. You bring blankets and lunch and have them entertain the little ones with puppet shows, stories and songs. It was really fun!

Brooke was content to sleep in the car seat the whole time!

Sharing fruit snacks

After story time the girls had a blast running down the hill and looking for potato bugs by the wall.

Look at our matching little cuties!

Hangin' with their other friend, Eden, from the ward.

And finally, this is what Aubrey has been doing to entertain herself while I have been doing this post. What is it about small spaces that the little munchkins like to squeeze into?!
