So Happy Together

We had a really fun Mother/Daughter Activity last night with our Activity Days girls. I have the best activity day leaders who did a fantastic job! We had a great turn out too - 19 of our 21 girls came with their moms. Our theme was, So Happy Together.

This is the flyer I made.

First the girls took pictures with their mom's in our park bench set up. Then they made matching friendship bracelets.

A super fun Relay Race was next. They were split into four teams. The first leg of the race they had to put panty hose, with an orange inside, around their waste and use it and their hips to move another orange across to their daughters. Then the daughters had to do the same.

Next they had to sit on balloons to pop them.

Then the daughters had to put their mom's hair in a pony tail and tie a ribbon around it.

Then they had to put a spoon full of jellybeans in their mouths and walk to the other side without dropping any. If they dropped any they would have to start over.

The last leg of the race - the mother/daughter pairs had to hold a piece of spaghetti together behind their backs and get to the finish line without breaking the noddle! If they broke it then they would have to start over.

After the race, they made really cute frames to display their picture that they took that night.

To end the evening, they came to our Ice Cream Sunday bar, and created their own sundays.

I think all the girls/moms had a really fun time, I sure did! One girl told me that, "This was the best party ever!" That made my night. It was really fun to see many of the girls wearing their bracelets and hair bows from the evening at church today!

Thanks to all of the leaders for making it such a success!
